Record sale for commercial site
A popular corner site in Cabarita Beach has sold for a local commercial sales record of $11.35 million.
The site at 34-36 Tweed Coast Road, Cabarita Beach was purchased by Sydney-based developers Jordan Heyer of CHP Group and Arian Galanis and Jeff Curnow of Metis Group.
CHP Group Owner and Managing Director Jordan Heyer said they were very excited to develop and construct the Cabarita Beach site with Metis Group.
“Our intention is to deliver a building that complements, rather than dominates the landscape, contributing positively to the unique character, identity, and coastal village atmosphere of Cabarita Beach,” Mr Heyer said.
“With community outcomes at the centre of our design, we will look to increase the commercial offerings in the area. These new offerings will link directly to an activated streetscape for the benefit of the whole community. The commercial tenants will offer a range of new and exciting food and beverage offerings, retail tenancies and shop fronts for current and future business owners.
“Our high quality residential units will equally contribute to the continued growth in the area.”
Mr Heyer said a Development Application for a mixed-use development is being prepared for lodgement with Tweed Shire Council.
